Signs of arthritis in your cat or dog may develop slowly over time and you may not notice these signs at first but as your pet deteriorates these are some of the symptoms you might notice
- Difficulty getting up and down.
- Walking stiffly.
- Lameness in one or more legs.
- Reluctance to go up and/or down stairs.
- Reluctance to jump up and down (onto/off furniture or into/out of vehicle).
- Stiff, swollen or sore joints.
- Reluctance to be touched on some body parts.
- Loss of stamina.
- Unexpected aggression towards other dogs or towards humans.
- Behaviour and mood may change.
